Hi, I am working on a project, in which I need to set up a separate Mikrotik (RB751u) to act as a DHCP Server, and possible gateway for a WAN we have.
I was able to get the DHCP server issuing IP addresses, and I can confirm everything works, however I have since reset the config I did, as the WAN has a proxy server (Squid - 3128) which manually has to be entered into each machine.
Would there be anyway to have the proxy config done within the Mikrotik DHCP server, so all a person needs to do is to plug in a cable, or connect to a WiFi connection, and have everything immediately working, without the need to enter these proxy settings manually?
So ideally I would need to redirect port 3128 to port 80.
The only issue is that I am no able to log into the Gateway (10.4.83.129), as this wasn’t set up by us, and we aren’t allowed to tamper with it, so I would be unable to log into the gateway to configure it to accept port 80. If this is able to be done via Winbox, to the IP let’s say for this (10.4.83.130), is there any way to get this done?
Thanks in advance.
