At a Trade show !! RouterOS provides the net !!

I am currently at a “mini” trade show…
My trusty little 532 is providing all the show participants and attendees with wireless access…

We are running 3.23 with a proxy and hotspot with user-manager all form one 532.

I am sitting at a small table in the back of the room with my router and my laptop monitoring the network…

Aprox 30 Vendor users and 100 atendees…

The hotel is providing a single connection (wireless) and I am “re-broadcasting”..

The venue wanted $135.00 per connection (user) OUCH !!..

We purchased a single connection and provided the entire event !!..

Hey there :slight_smile:

That save me asking the question: “Can you run hotspot and a proxy on the same system?” :smiley:

So now I know it can be done - would you be so kind as to assist in the “How?” part…?
I’m pretty much sorted with hotspot and usermanager… I just would love to add the proxy capability to the network as well, as that would kind of be awesome :laughing:
