Atheros 5213 driver and Transmit Power

Hi folks,

I have noticed that atheros 5213 is having low ping, noise and performance problem most of the time on all my Access Points.
I tried changing channels with no luck.
Strange thing is when I set transmit power on 23 instead leaving it default, everything works fine now on all Access Points for more than one week.
For Atheros 5213, MT is dinamicaly taking AR5212 drivers.
Same thing is with Super Range 2 AR5213.
So, I suppose there is a driver problem?
All versions are 2.8.28

Anybody noticed this?

I installed a 5213 card into a 2.8.28 router to replace a Prism2 card at the weekend, the new card would connect to the WG (s**t) access point but would pass no data. I upgraded the MT router to 2.9 and it now works really well.

Is does report used the 5212 driver also
