Does anyone knows if 2.9.x version uses a different type of driver for atheros? I have a couple of cards from D-Link (DWL-G520) been reconized on 2.8.24 but will not perform station or ap mode, but they work PERFECTLY on 2.9.x Beta.

have the same issue . i can get the 5213’s to connect in beta 14 but not in 2.8.23 or .24 .
in .23 .24 it shows from the station that it can see the ap but will not connect even if it is 2’ away with a -23 signal strength . thought it was just me but i then went to beta 14 and every works fine
