Anyone has experience with ATL disassembly without damage it? I removed the screws but it still holding tight together. I want to replace the modem to 5G one as when I bought the ATL thre was no 5G on towers and now couple month later I try to setup but from the three band which is offered by the tower 1 is converted to 5G (n1 - 20 Mhz). So to get the best possible speed I need to replace the modem but I have difficulties to open the case…
So to open it, you need to grab a pliers and pull up hard on each corner of the heatsink. Also need the conversion cable for the antennas as well so can fit a 52mm 5g modem
Hi,
Do you have picture of ATL18 PCB? I’m also thinking about upgrading to 5g modem.
