Mostly of interest to me is the beamforming aspect, but all around this looks like a great piece of silicon to have in your portfolio.

What are going to do to stay competitive as wireless technologies evolve, Mikrotik?
What is your core competency?

Here’s what I mean:
You have 3 core products (basically):

  • RouterOS
  • RouterBoard
  • Wireless cards

Are you just going to concentrate on RouterOS or RouterBoard? If so, you need to work more on making RouterOS more compatible with more wireless cards and adding the Mini PCI-E bus to your RouterBoards. You know what would blow the lid off your market? Developing a good Wi-Max solution in parallel to supporting the technology mentioned in the previous post.

I think I’m making some legitimate points here and offering some constructive criticism.

Anyone else?
