I own two Audience wifi APs and I use them in a mesh configuration. I noticed that power cycling the extender one (the one not cabled to Internet access) leads to being out of mesh, and I need to pair it again to the master one (configuring the master for pairing and powering the extender with the pair button pressed). Is this an intended behavior (which would be very annoying)?
I believe you can (should) update the RouterOS and particularly the drivers (wifi vs. wireless), then get rid of the original "mesh" setup and more simply make one of the radios on the extender as a station-bridge to the dedicated radio of the master.
But let us wait for suggestions by people that actually have (and run) these Audiences.
