Audience Boot Loop

I just experienced the first power-up of an Audience and it was stuck in a boot loop. I managed to NetInstall it to version 7.15.3, logged in, and then updated the firmware. However, every time I proceeded to configuration, it started boot looping again. I repeated the NetInstall process, logged in, and attempted the configuration, but it continued to boot loop. On a few occasions, I successfully completed the configuration, but it eventually went back to the boot loop. I just want to make sure I’m not missing anything before I decide to return it.

My own audience runs fine at 7.15.3.

It came with v6, so I netinstalled it to one of early v7 (to get wifiwave2 drivers running). After that ordinary ROS upgrades (using ROS built-in upgrader) did things just fine.

So it could be your device is somehow damaged and fit for warranty replacement (I love my audience and wouldn’t agree to be replaced with another device model).
