Audience default settings Virtual AP

Hi Guys

I just bought a pair of Mikrotik Audience devices. Goal: simple and easy wifi-coverage. I know, the best is cable connected devices.

3 questions:

  1. In the second Audience (the “remote” or “client” Audience) There is a wlan3 in station bridge mode and on top of that a Virtual ap-bridge.
    What is the function of this VAP on wlan3?

  2. And, does anybody knows if the antennas for the 5GHz backhaul have directional pattern?

  3. I assume that in this mesh setup, I will get 2 different channels in both 2,4 and 5 Ghz? I don’t why, but for now I can see the 2 Audience devices are using the same channels.
