The default WAN port of the Audience is binded to ETH1, which is the PoE IN port. I’d want to feed the Audience from a tp-link PoE switch, but I need to reconfigure the ETH1 as LAN and ETH2 as WAN.
I downloaded the txt conf file, exchanged the interfaces and uploaded the new configuration. Although everything worked, in the Quick_Set page the settings of the ETH interfaces were messed up; as soon as I edited the settings, the Audience stopped working.
Is there any chance to have this configuration working?
As per my kowledge, the configuration that you stated above works pretty well. I can’t backed it up with data as I’m confused on certain terms. correct me if im wrong
You can edit the settings with Winbox, webfig or CLI terminal session. Once you edit anything then never go back to Quick_set.
Downloading the whole config, editing, then uploading is one way of doing it. I would just edit things in winbox ( remove ether2 from the bridge, change interface list wan/lan for ether1 and ether2 , move the DHCP client to ether2, add ether1 to the bridge). Don’t go back to Quick_set to check.
