Auto Failover is not working Properly

Hi,

i have 2 ISP, 1 is 10mb and 2nd is 15mb, i have configured auto failover between them, i am facing one issue, when ISP 1 goes down then ISP 2 should automatically run on the behalf of ISP 1, but it is not happening, when ISP1 goes down, I close the port of ISP1 in my mikrotik router then ISP 2 will start distributing internet to all users. please tell me how can i configure this properly? when ISP1 goes down 2nd ISP will start automatically without port off… please help

Just update your knowledge on AS_PATH prepend.
That should do it.

Do go through the link below for implementation:

What part do you have to do manually it is not clear??
if my wan1 is not available the switch to wan2 happens automatically.
My issue is that wan1 when it comes back online, if the gateway has changed would not pick up the new gateway and thus not adjust the routing and thus would stay on ISP2.
Without seeing your config …we be guessing.

The OP never cite BGP…
