Auto Media Share USB not disable

I noticed perhaps a bug present in ROS 7.17. I don’t know if the previous versions also suffer from it because only today I inserted a USB stick into my HEX. I inserted a 16GB USB stick formatted in Ext4 to use it with SMB and there are no particular problems. However, I noticed that the “Auto SMB Share” and “Auto Media Share” items were active, which I proceeded to deactivate and restart ROS. Despite this, I have a dynamic sharing of “usb1” that I cannot delete and under My Computer I always see the Media sharing (DLNA?). I also tried to restart the PC but nothing…Bug?

That didn’t work in the previous stable version either. See the following topic: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/turning-off-default-smb-and-dlna/180386/1

Dynamic sharing following the discussion you linked has actually disappeared but I still have the “Hex_MediaUSB” icon in My Computer of all clients in LAN…

Can you try similar command:

/disk/set usb1 media-sharing=no

solved!

but have you reported it to MK support? Otherwise I create a ticket with them to inform them of this, it seems that these graphic settings do not work.

Glad it helped. No, I haven’t reported it. Please create a ticket.
