auto upgrade from central server: one server per hardware ?

hi,

i was playing around with the auto upgrade function. i noticed that it does need a winbox enabled user account for it to retrieve updates from a remote router. is the username and password encrypted in the connection between the remote router and the one which is retrieving the update information? also i noticed there is no way to make the auto upgrade look into a folder on the remote servers side. in this case i would have to have a remote server for each different platform (x86, rb100, rb200, rb500 and intel/amd). is there any way to select only files for the upgrade from a specific folder ?

you can upload all the packets you need for upgrade, for all architectures available,

AFAIK update will update installed packages, not install new ones.

for RB500, RB100 packages contain ns int their names so they will not be replaced by x86 packets and vice versa
