Auto Upgrade problem with The Dude Server, login failure for user dudetest*** from 10.20.**.** via winbox

Hi Guys,

I am working on it auto update mikrotik with The Dude, by this manual https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Upgrading_RouterOS

But, I have weird problem.

When i Click on System / Auto Upgrade / refresh on mikrotik which is on monitoring

I got this error on The Dude Server
login failure for user dudetest******* from 10.20****.*** via winbox.

BTW On The Dude Server is NPK package for routerOS

Multiples times I was change user / pass in Upgrade Package Sources and also change on The Dude server user pass.

And user pass is 100 percent Ok. The Dude access on System users is allowed.

Does anyone got this problem.

The Dude server 6.44.5 (long-term), device on monitoring 6.44.5 (long-term)

I think that error also occurs when trying to login from an IP that’s not in the allowed IP range for the relevant IP service.

Hi nikc,

Thank you for join the topic.

It does not firewall, when I enable service allowed IP list, I got error, denied winbox/dude connect from 10.20*.*

Something else is causing the problem but i can’t figure out what.

does this user dudetest on the end-device have enough rights ?

Yes, he has full rights, including Dude.

I changed the client router and recognized the server.
