Automatic change of ISP by changing interfaces - how DNS ?

Hello,

Im working new with Microtik and have a very general question:

How to switch automatically to other interface (backup connection), when the first fails,

and how to switch the DNS to the DNS of second provider ?

there are multiple ways to do this, for example:

just search for Failover or Policy Routing

sorry, I can´t detect anywhere on this links something about DNS.

Switch interfaces and network by ping I already know, bu not DNS.

Could you precise it somehow please ?

the script can do whatever you want. not just enable another Gateway, it can execute any command. Just make the script set a new DNS server …

or you could just use some of publicly available DNS servers like 4.2.2.2
