Autoupgrade problem

Hi, I have 5 RB912 and I have problems using the AutoUpgrade function… I had the same problem on the RB2011, read later.

The problem is that if I try to AutoUpgrade I obtain o a non resolved DNS error or a connection timeout.

The config is very simple, to understand where is the problem i started from scratch:

  1. starting from scratch without default scripts I used ether1 associated to a bridge, wlan is disabled at the moment.
  2. i assigned an IP to the bridge, for example 192.168.90.10/24
  3. i putted 8.8.8.8 in the ip/dns (with accept remote connections)
  4. i created a route for 0.0.0.0/0 using 192.168.90.1 as gateway (reachable bridge)
  5. i created a rule in the firewall to accept icmp packets

Now… if I try from terminal to ping 192.168.90.1 i have success, but if i try any other address (outside the lan ie. 8.8.8.:sunglasses: it fails into timeout. The 192.168.90.1 is working and internet is ok.
I tryed to ping www.google.com and it was resolved, but not answer to the ping.

AutoUpgrade: ERROR connection time out

Why there is no internet also if the gateway is reachable ?

In the RB2011 I resolved creating two rules in the firewall (chain input - connection state enstabilished - accept and chain input - connection state related) and now autoupgrade works… on the RB912 this does not work.

RouterOS version is 6.30 on some machines and the latest 6.34.1 (uploaded with winbox) on other…

Can someone help me to understand ?

Any help is appreciated… thank you in advance…
