I have been looking for a 1300nm multi-mode sfp module that is compatible with mikrotik routerboards (specifically CRS212… and RB953.. boards). I found an sfp module from AVAGO (HFBR-57E0LZ) that is 1300nm, multi-mode, 100Mb/s fast ethernet capable

The switch recognizes that there is an sfp present and can see some of the DDM information as well as whether or not there is an incoming signal. I have to force the speed and duplex to 100Mb/s full duplex and then I get a link ok status and see connectivity lights on both the switch and other device.
However, the switch does not pass any data to the other device. in the interface menu I can see tx activity but no rx activity on the port.

I am wondering if anyone has experience with these or knows how to make them work, or if there is an alternative module that i can try. The fiber port on the other device is built-in and non-replaceable, hence the 100Mb/s fx port.
