I’ve tried switching off the wifi package and enabling the wireless package on my hAP ax3. It seemed to work fine, but I decided to reset the configuration. Via WebFig, I selected “Reset Configuration” and rebooted the router. Since then, I haven’t been able to connect to the router.
It seems like the SSID isn’t being broadcasted, and the Ethernet isn’t providing a DHCP IP address. The router’s lights are on, and my PC says it’s connected, but I never receive an IP address, so I can’t access the router.
I’ve tried using Winbox, but I can’t see my router. I’m directly connected to it, I’ve tried all the ethernet ports (from 1 to 5) and I’ve tried resetting the router by powering it on while holding the reset button until led stop blinking.
I’ve also tried putting a upgrade ROS package on the usb drive and connecting it to the router and rebooting, but this didn’t work either. I’ve never turned on the router without an antenna so I would rule out accidental frying up of the motherboard.
Could anyone help me troubleshoot this issue or suggest an option?
Wireless will not work on AX line.
Thanks, I’ve actually used a different PC to connect to the router using winbox, and I’ve been able to disable it and re-enable other package, problem fixed. Thanks for the tip.
