Axis IP Cameras is not working

Dear collegas,

Yesterday I installed my new HAP ac. Everything is working ok. Exept camera’s software (not connecting from outside).

or in english

“Axis Secure Remote Access technology allows users easy access to live or recorded video even from remote directly on a mobile device or PC with no need for network or router configuration”

On my old router (Linksys 6700) it all was ok without any adjustments.

So, can u plz help me to config HAP. Thanks

Apparently your security level has risen.

Jarda is right. It is not normal, that something from the internet can access devices in your LAN. At least not with a MikroTik device. Most likely you need port forwarding (NAT). Find out what port needs to be opened.

Thanks a lot for answering to my post.

I find a note (but it is from 2013 )

Accoding to it - can u plz recomed that to do on my new HAP ac ?

Thanks

Page 2 of linked document says it all. The easiest thing to do is to enable UPnP on your mikrotik.

UPnP is a dirty but easy way of achieving what you want. I’d warn you away from it though as it can cause a lot of security issues as it gives devices the capability to poke holes in your firewall.
Here is an easy way to enable UPnP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkeu2t_6O2c

You may be better though going the full hog and learning how to do it “properly” with port forwarding.

Thanks a lot! All is working.

Now I made it with UpNP! Later - maybe as it have to be ports

Hi guys, one again.

y next question (may be it will be a diferent post on this forum…)

I what to make a power by POI. But as I understad - the POI plugin is port #1. Thich is olso for incomming ‘internet’. And the local LAN ports are 2-5.

Is it possible to “re adress” the incomming port? Thanks!

The first port is for PoE input (powering the router itself).
The last port is for PoE output (powering another router)

But your camera uses a different PoE standard (802.3af), this particular router can’t power your camera, it only supports “Passive PoE”.

Thanks.

POI for cameras i have from other device (d link switch)
And from it i want to power Hap AC.
But power POI IN is port #1. And it is WAN port. So i want to move WAN port for other. And to have LAN on port #1.
