Hi Guys , is there anyway to back to the version 4.17 in my RB Metal 2.4
i downloaded the all package and uploaded to my RB after that i go to system package and click on downgrade and the router was rebooted but after that still on the version 5.26 ??
This routeros version is too old for this device. It did not exist when that version was relevant.
Why do you want to use this old version anyway ?
I’d like to use this vrsion because this is the only supported to make my ssid with Arabic language 
It’s always best to use the latest version or at least the latest considered to be stable.
Maybe you can write to support and ask why this was supported and then dropped. Maybe just a small bug to fix.
Are you sure that v4.17 is different? RouterOS has never supported other languages in any part of interface. Even in v4.17 not
Sir , i could find a lot of people using my arabic language on them access points and when I asked them about which kind of device are using , they told me its Mikrotik Metal 2.4 , by the way in my country nobody use RB 2.4 for internet using , because the noise over here too high , so i just use it now to make my special Advertising for Internet service … please see the attached file
