It is possible you are using an older version of RouterOS. Check it :slight_smile:

What’s new in 2.9.28:
*) fixed min-runtime and on-line for APC USB UPS;

Hi,

I am using 2.9.38…

How did you get USB to work? In my x86 ROS boxes, the USB ports don’t show up at all.

To answer my own question, I was looking in the wrong place. I was looking under the “Ports” button in Winbox, and only seeing Serial0.

When I went into the UPS area, and added a new UPS there was a “usb1” item in the port dropdown for the UPS, selecting that my UPS showed up and has all of the expected data!

My UPS is identified by MT as Back-UPS ES 500 FW:2.e2.D USB FW:e2

ROS revision is 2.9.38
