Hello,
I have two SXTqc-5ac paired, signal is good, link is stable. When I perform a wireless scan with “background” feature enabled on the AP side, have noticed that traffic stops, client gets dropped for a few seconds and reconnect again. Is it normal behaviour to drop client when doing a background scan ?
Here is my AP setting
/interface wireless security-profiles
set [ find default=yes ] supplicant-identity=MikroTik
add authentication-types=wpa-psk,wpa2-psk eap-methods="" management-protection=allowed mode=dynamic-keys name=profil_ptp \
supplicant-identity="" wpa-pre-shared-key=blahblah wpa2-pre-shared-key=blahblah
/interface wireless
set [ find default-name=wlan1 ] band=5ghz-n/ac country=france disabled=no frequency=auto mode=bridge radio-name=STCPTP01 \
security-profile=profil_ptp ssid=STCPTP0102 wireless-protocol=802.11 wps-mode=disabled
The command to scan:
/interface wireless scan wlan1 duration=10 background=yes save-file=blah.txt
And the AP log, right after scan finishes
15:12:33 wireless,info C4:AD:34:56:62:A3@wlan1: disconnected, management-protection failure
15:12:47 wireless,info C4:AD:34:56:62:A3@wlan1: connected, signal strength -54, wants bridge
Correspoding client log
