backup/restore RB2011L-RM

I’ve got two identical routerboards : 2x a RB2011L-RM.
The first one is already working great at my vdsl2 line. Now i want to make a backup of it, and put that backup to the second RB so i just have to change some small things and i can put it on my second vdsl2 line…

So, i use winbox to make the backup : i click on “files”, followed by “Backup”. The file he creates is about 214.7KiB. So i drag-n-drop this file to my desktop, and restart winbox to make the connection to the second routerboard…i go to files, and when i want to do the drag-n-drop of the backupfile to the “files” window, winbox always closes itselfs, and give a message “the routerboard has been disconnected”. When i restart winbox, the backupfile is in the files tab but is just 0KiB. So it isn’t copied at all…

Can someone give me a little tip on this?

If you are using Winbox with the MAC address file transfers may be unreliable. Try adding an IP to the second router and retry the file transfer.

That was indeed what i did : for the second RB i’ve tried to connect using the mac address. How can i put a static ip on that second router?

The only interface that’s connected to a switch now is port 5. Using DHCP client he gets the ip 10.0.0.135 of my router. So now it should work, right? Or do i mis something?
