Backup/Restore to Different Hardware

Hi all,

I have a working site configuration on an RB750r2. As part of ongoing upgrades we will be swapping this for an RB4011iGS+Rm router. Can we take a backup from the RB720r2 and restore it to the RB4011iGS+Rm or do we need to manually reconfigure the new router?

Export configuration to a file and then import to the new device.
You have to tailor configuration according to interface names, MAC’s etc.
Search the forum for “restore configuration”
