I backed up a router we were using previously and it recently died and I can’t remember what exactly the version of mikrotik os was running on the old one but I think it’s close to the one we are running now which is 2.9.23, I know the winbox interface was the same so I didn’t know if it would screw anything up if i restored the backup from the old one to it, or is there a way to just get the values out of the backup from it and maybe copy/paste them to the terminal? or see any of it?
