Someone tell me how to backup license? Can I format my drive and put again license? My major problem is when I remotely login winbox or webfig it’s was very very slow but internal network winbox or webfig works well. That’s why I want to format my drive and install fresh copy. Like everyone else said, Netinstall is the only valid option. You cannot format the drive yourself, you will destroy your license key.
Do not use paid software (of any kind) on HDD disks that are old, used or questionable. Use server grade new parts only.
Maybe he had the license for years… Therefore the drive is not new… But as the license is bound with the drive it dies with it. Better to use virtualised ros because it can be moved with the license elsewhere if necessary.
