i backed up my mikotik rouer in terminal now i can view my .rsc file. what i want to know what is not included in .rsc file backup
i want to back up my configuration so if my router quits working to Restore it is .rsc file the Best Way to backup my entire system
best way to restore on same machine or other of the same reference is .backup (you can get it on files)
.rsc export is better to migrate a config to a different reference of machine
.rsc export is a text file and allow to see specifics of config and does not carry some things like users and graphics
its useful to get both .backup and .rsc periodically and store it of site for disaster recovery in the event of device failure etc
