bad performance from R52hn cards

I hope someone can help with this.

I have a Rb433 about 80m from another Rb433 both have R52hn cards with two MMCX pigtails going to 2 flat panels. The signal strength is around -15. The cards are configured for nstream with all the chains sellected. I’m running the 5Ghz only n.

When I run a bandwidth test from one side to the other the cards do not perform well at all. I cant seem to get more then Rt 18Mbps & Rs 18Mbps for a total of 36Mbps total through the cards. They also tend to disconnect then reconnect often.

Any ideas as to why the performance is so bad??

It depends on antenna gain and on the things you see in log file.
Most probably you are overdriving these amp’ed cards. Then you should see ROS screaming about too strong signal in Log. Also, NEVER EVER switch on these cards without antenna or some other termination! They are very powerful, yet very sensitive and such behavior can lead to bad results - $59 loss.
My advice - get some 5ghz attenuators for bench-testing or move testing to much further distances.

you could only activate 1 radio in routeros…
