bad responsiveness of RB133c via Winbox and SSH

hi,

i have one CPE that behaves very strange. its all working fine and cpu is most of the time under 10% but as soon as i try to use winbox or ssh the CPE becomes unresponsive. in winbox it sometimes does not let me login or it takes almost a minute to actually show any settings and via ssh it takes ages to react on any input. i have tried a different RB133c at the same location and also software 2.9.48, 3.1 and now 3.2. it makes no difference. the ethernet cable is about 40m long and i am using an 18V power supply. we have installations with longer cable and 18V power supply and have no problems. what could be the reason ? i have no errors on the ethernet interface btw, neither on the cpe nor on the other end.

I’ve seen similar when I have a small queue enabled.
Sometimes I goof and forget the “k” on the end of 256K.

it must have been to many packets installed. i was advised by support to uninstall NTP since i dont need it in V3. V3 has a NTP client build in. since that the board is well again.

the list of packets i had installed:
advanced-tools
dhcp
ntp
routerboard
security
system
wireless

that was too much obviously for the RB133c
