Band: 2.4GHz-B/G not supporting b clients

Hi

Can anybody perhaps let me know if you have come across this problem before and if you perhaps have a solution.
We have a Mikrotik RB433 routerboard running ROS 3.2 but the same problem with version 4.0.
When I select the band 2.4GHz-B/G, Clients that only support the B standard can’t connect but G client work fine.

When I select the B only option then B clients can connect fine.

I would like to have the 2.4GHz-B/G band enabled so that B clients can connect with no problem and G clients can also connect.
But when there are no B clients in range then the G clients get full speed.

In other words. What I expect from the B/G option doesn’t work.

i dont have a solution, but its working for me. I have a Roku radio that is only B, and it connects, as well as Xbox and itouch and other devices on G. Which radio are you using? Im using atheros (netgear pci card actually)

ps - look in the logs to see what you find.
