Bandwidth control at AP

Hi,

We currently control the bandwidth of each customer using a simple queue on the AP with their IP address listed. We are currently using “sfq” types to do this control. Is that the best queue type for controlling speed in a multi-point configuration using Nstreme?

Is there a benefit to using PCQ? What settings seem to work best?

I find bandwidth control on the ap as a bad idea it takes to many cpu cycles

A simple queue on the client device works fine for us. Seems to be more steady on AP though. I find that the default queues are actually set low. example a 512kbX128kb I usually manually set 512 closer to 600k and 128 to about 190k. Don’t know much about bandwidth shaping though.
