bandwidth control with scripting

I would like to change bandwidth on the fly when a user reaches a given ammount of traffic during a given period of time. Is it possible to achieve this using simple queues and scripting? Can you please point me in the right direction or if possible provide a scripting example?
Thank you

About 10 minutes ago I finished a short howto for a similar purpose: Volume limitation for every month.

Maybe it can help you…

good works, uebi

Thanks!

If the people here like it, I don’t regret that I spent my time on writing a howto instead of playing online poker
