I recently purchased a Mikrotik Routerboard Hex Rb750gr3.
I’m using the device for internet redundancy for live broadcasts in my studio. I already have the connections properly configured with failover, etc.
I have 2 fiber optic connections (both 300mb/s up & 150mb/s down) and I would like to know how to configure a bandwidth control as follows:
- If one of the connections is bad on the day (for “external” reasons, out of my control, from the internet company), is it possible to make it switch to the secondary connection automatically? For example: if my max upload rate drops from 30mb/s, it switches to the secondary connection to keep the 150mb/s upload.
It’s possible? Any tips?
