I have mikrotik 2.9.27 and 1 ADSl line 1 mega with 40 user .. i have setup dhcp and hotspot ..
everything running ok .. but i want to limit download for each user to 30 kbps but without browsing effected . and if i want to set download to 40 kbps for special users what i can do ?

I guess the best option is to use bursting. That wil allow browsing with high speed, but any download would be limited to lower speed.
The other way is to mange http traffic and then allow higher speed for such connections. That would also include http downloads.
Hi Pedja. pls can u explain or give more information on implementing the other way to talked about. i appreciate ur help cause i really need to do something like that
