Bandwidth Limiting on /29 WAN subnet

I have been asked to see if I can figure out how one of our suppliers does bandwidth limiting on a single mikrotik. Our WAN handoff is normally a /29 or bigger what our supplier/networking partner is able to do, is provide a WAN handoff of to any tenant that wants there own Public IP address for a firewall and is able to bandwidth limit the tenant.

I have tested it with a bridge for the /29 “WAN” and can get upload/ingress throttling to work this way but download/egress seems to be eluding me. I am using mangle rules to mark the packet based on source and destination IP and then queue trees.

I am aware with the bridge you would have to enable use IP firewall on the bridges settings. Any ideas or help on this would be extremely helpful.

Did you attempt to ask this supplier fella, seems that is the direct route.

One thought is to use simple queue. MikroTik seems to pitch it, and easier to configure than a queue tree for RX.
