I am running 2.8.17 with rb220 on one end and rb230 on the other with atheros ar5213 and I cannot get over 1 mb thru the wireless connection between routers. I have it set up as wds with bridging. My signal levels are at -60 and the overall txccq is 39-45.
I have read thru the archives and there has been some talk about the wireless package and the atheros causing this trouble. Is this the case with 2.8.17?
Bandwidth testing is the way I am testing these connections, going from eth port thru the wlan to the ethernet port on the other end.
Anyone else having this problem?

I had similar problems with 2.8.18 and 2.8.19. Have you tried to use the wireless-legacy package instead of the wireless package? Search the forum for posts about peoples’ experiences with that and about guidelines how to change wireless package to wireless-legacy…
