Bandwidth Restriction for a Pool

Hi,

I have an IP pool of /29 subnet and i want to restrict this whole IP pool to 4mb. How to do this.

Like if all IP are using internet, the total bandwidth restriction on all IP’s should be 4mb, each IP should not be restricted to 4mb.

Let me know this.

so, 4mb will be shared to /29 equally? if has only one user using, he will get 4mb full?
if yes, PCQ is your answer.

and yes, you should add a queue for every /29 pool

Hi,

can any of you show me an example. I dont want to add queue for each IP in the Pool of /29. How is it possible with only one QUEUE for the whole /29 Pool.

one pool = one queue

if you would like to limit 192.168.0.0/29, 192.168.0.8/29, 192.168.0.16/29, etc - you should add one queue for each subnet. currently, PCQ cannot merge classifiers to classify groups, not separate addresses

Hi,

Dear chupaka,

It would be great if you can give me an example, becasue i am a bit confused regarding this.

I tried creating single queue with target add “192.168.0.0/29” , but it gave me error to give correct IP address.

use queue tree and mark all needed packets in mangle
