Bandwidth Shaping System Requirements

Hello,

I want to use RouterOS in bridged mode solely for bandwidth shaping.
I need to do bandwidth limits on per host base as well as priority shaping on service level.

Does anyone have experience as to how much system ressource (Memory/CPU) the bandwidth management is consuming?

I thought about using a RouterBOARD 532 for doing the traffic shaping on a 5 Mbit Trunk with approx. 50 concurrent users. Will this be working or do i need more processor power ?

We have done just this using a Pentium 233 with 64Mb RAM set up as a transparent bridge to control P2P on 2Mbps pipe has less than 20% CPU utilization most the time.
