I’ve had this happen a bunch. Bandwith Server/Test between two RB153/SR5. Signal -63, 37 SNR, 18mb Data Rate.
150’ POE w 49v 20 watt injector
Bandwidth Test, especially when set to Both directions, radio will sometimes just drop link temp… but often the board set as server will have to be physically rebooted.
Any suggestions. Obviously we will stop this testing on live links, but worry that extreme bandwidth load will have the same consequences.

More info on this- when the RB153 locked up, it seems to take down everything plugged into the ethernet switch at the tower. Drops about 75% of the pings. Rebooted the power and everythings back to normal.
I’m wondering if it’s overloading the processor on RB153. I’ve setup graphing on resources.
We just started testing and only boards available were 153’s. Am ordering 532’s next…

Same thing happens to me, and I have RB532 on both sides…
It even happened running BTest on a PC on each side of the link.
I had to unplug power, that’s the only thing that worked.
