bandwidth-test thru ssh

Dear Colleagues,

Is anybody use bandwidth-test thru ssh?

I cant use it. It is run in mt terminal, copy-past to debian, and it is not works.

ssh -p *** admin-@.hu ‘/tool bandwidth-test *** user=admin password=*** protocol=tcp direction=transmit duration=10s random-data=yes’

I like to run it from debian, while I read max speed with snmp.

Does anybody idea, why i don’t use it?

Thanks,

gyoztes

I suggest you to use SSH DSA keys,
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Use_SSH_to_execute_commands_(DSA_key_login)
It should work fine.

Thanks for the replay, but certainly I use ssh key. Other commands work correctly. It stops on “connecting” status, and give me the debian consol before I can measure the band with snmp (in 0.1 sec). I get back the first “window” from mt with connacting status, and it is not continue.

Any idea? I try it in 2.9.49, 2.9.51 (pc) and 3.6 (with RB600)…

Thanks,

gyoztes

If anybody has other idea how can I measure maximum bandwith each night, please tell it!

Thanks,

gyoztes

Do you say nobody measure max band capacity in ptp links?

Any other idea?
