I need help on what might be responsible for bandwidth up link getting used up even when there is little or no activity from the client computers. When the uplink is maxed out I will need to change the Public IP address on the Mikrotic router to normalize the traffic and after sometime the uplink will get up again so I keep changing the Public IP. Can this be a virus attack on the Mikrotic router, What can I do, I have Level 4 on X86.
use Torch or Packet sniffer to look, what kind of traffic you have. maybe, just routing loop?
