Bandwidth woes

Hi Folks.

I have a Hitron CNGv4 in bridging mode, connected to a CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD, using the latest firmware 6.41. Reset configuration in an attempt to see if I had mucked up anything and no joy. Only changes from default is remove admin user and adding my own, static ip on ether1, setting route to my default gw and configuring the wifi.

Bandwidth available on the Hitron is 200/20 ( http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/d/31816129 ) and what I get through the MikroTik is 4/20, at best 20/20 .. ( http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/d/31816433 )

Starting to get frustrated, since I had the same MikroTik device hooked up to another ISP previously and that was flawless. But, as my tests here show, the Hitron is getting the speeds it should, but not my MikroTik router. I just can’t seem to find anything sticking out. Any help here would be highly appreciated. Any details needed, do let me know, I’m new here and may have missed something outlining what is expected.

CRS is mainly a switch, but then what your are trying should be possible.
According to specs, https://mikrotik.com/product/CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD-IN, it should be able to route at 1gbps with sufficiently large packets.

Something else causing it?
MTU? try to determine your max size
packet loss? check interface stats
some other noise on network?
