BaseBox 2, then adding 5.8

i was looking at the basebox2 to start, which would require 2 2.4 antenna

i could use http://routerboard.com/ACOMNIRPSMA

ok now what about 5.8?

i could use either a R11e-5HnD or R11e-5HacD(this appears it runs at either 54 mbit a or AC speeds yes?)

then i need 2 pigtails http://routerboard.com/ACMMCXRPSMA

what do i do for antenna’s? for the 5.8? seems odd there are no antenna’s for 5.8

i guess they are looking at backhaul? but im just looking for a dumb dual band outdoor omni

The R11e-5HacD gives you 802.11ac which is inherently compatible with 802.11a, 802.11n (on 5Ghz) and 802.11ac.

For an antenna you can use any 5Ghz antenna you would like. You just need the right pigtails (which you seem to have) and then find a RP-SMA antenna for 5Ghz. Either with or without a cable connected from the box.
