I am kinda new here. Seeking assistance in setup on firewalls on my router. I have 2 ISPs 1 is ppoe and the other is a normal dedicated link.
I am supposed to allow access of a port to WAN but I find there are other outside IPs that are accessing teh port and I am worried of security being compromised. Kindly assist on how I can secure the Router.
First ensure you have something like this as the baseline default setup… see item B - https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=182373
Choose 1 to start as that is basically the same as the default one MT provides but better/simpler and cleaner.

/export hide-sensitive file=anynameyouwish
Just ensure no public IPs or gateway sneak past…
Then we can assess what you want to do with what you have and provide an optimal method.
You do need to clarify the requirement and to do so dont talk about the config.
Present it in terms of what a USER needs to be able to do, or perhaps a device…
