I’m looking simply get an IPv6 address on LTE interface. I do know that the provider does provide IPv6 address through DHCP and I must be able to assign that the the LTE interface or better passthrough. I try to configure but get the following message:
i have a wAP ac LTE6 with the R11e-LTE6 Modem inside and got the same problem. I did lte passthrough to my main router (rb3011) over a vlan, so i still have management access to my wAP and can even use the capsman on my rb3011 to manage the wireless stuff. On the rb3011 i also got my main internet connection (dsl over pppoe) running with ipv4 and ipv6. Now i wanted to use the lte of the wAP as a second internet connection for e.g. load balancing and/or failover. Everything works good in case of ipv4, but i can’t get ipv6 running.
Is there any solution or workaround to use ipv4 AND ipv6 with lte passthrough? That would be great!
You Will just have to set ipv6 interface to bridge on apn settings and also turn off passthrough
This way the bridge interface auconfigures the ipv6 range on your lan without any DHCP servers
This totally works for me on hap ax lite LTE6
