Basic Queueing for 12Mbit pipe - RB532 or RB333?

Hi guys,

I was wanting to use a RouterBoard for some basic queueing (probably PCQ or RED) on a 12Mbit pipe, and I was needing to know if an RB532 would be suitable, or if I should go with an RB333? It’s all ethernet, one in, one out.

Now thinking about scalability, if I hook up more than one internet connection, I should probably go with a PC and a quad-port ethernet card.

What are your thoughts?

Matt

for your configuration and how you describe it now - RB500 should be enough, bit you are going to expand then rb333 would suit you better - also, you coud then add not only basic queues, but more fancy configurations as RB333 is very powerful
