Hi all, im New here but have been sort of working with Mikrotik devices for some time now.
though I would not say i am really Knowledgeable on these devices or on more advanced networking.
I would really like some assistance in removing the basic configuration on the devices i have within my Network.
Better Configuring them to suite the environment they are to cater for. Id like to make it more secure as well as
Give it a bit more intelligence in how all the communications work. These are my current devices.
1X Mikrotik RB2011iL (Current DHCP server, Gateway point for all other devices and had fire wall rules.)
1X NetGear GS724TP(not installed)
1X Cisco Catalyst 2960-X-24PS-L
6X Mikrotik RB951-2n (2 of which are not installed.)
1X Mikrotik RB951G-2HnD
1X Mikrotik RB751G-2HnD
2X Hirschmann RSB20
1X Hirschmann Eagle30 Firewall(not installed)
1X PFsense firewall(not installed, installed on Industrial PC with Core 2 duo.)
As far as i can tell . there is a lot of potential that this equipment can attain however i don’t know how to implement these sort of features/Configurations.
please help where possible. or give advice
