Basic Wireless Configuration

Hello,

I have 2x RB333’s connected wirelessly. However, I cannot ping from the IP on one to the IP on the other. MAC ping via winbox works fine, but not IP to IP.

The current IP configuration is as follows, very simple:

RB#1-
ether2- 10.0.0.80/24
wlan1- 10.0.0.82/24

RB#2-
ether2- 10.0.0.83/24
wlan1- 10.0.0.86/24

I should not need NAT or anything else for these two routers to talk to each other wirelessly. How could it be more simple?

Nomaad, you’ve got to go get some TCP/IP books and learn IP Addressing. You cannot have two separate interfaces within the same router sharing the same IP range!
