Hello,
I just started to use Mikrotik routers. I have a question, normally it is not necessary to be. But I am just interested to know.
I have a RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN router and a Synology DS216+II NAS behind. I have cable modem, not fixed IP. On synology I have set a DDNS access with DynDNS account.
If I am at home normally I have to type my NAS IP address with port 5000 to reach it. From outside I use DDNS address with specified port (I set up NAT rules in Mikrotik). But how I can do it if I type my DDNS address with port 5000 inside my home network to reach NAS? Now I got message the web page cannot be reach. I try to type my WAN IP from inside, but doesn’t work.
I know normal case I don’t need it from home, but maybe I can set it up.
Thanks,
Gábor
