Best ACK timeout for wifi hotspot,

Hi, i have 2 rb411ah with r52 radios in a Pool area in an hotel, By default the ack timeout was dynamic, and the connections really sucked,The communication between the ap and the clients was to slow, ( most of them ipads and other handheld dvices,), so i change it to indoors and that improved a lot the performance, i also enable rts and cts feature and that increase a little thr speed, but i think its not enough.
I have to mention that most of the clients connect at -75 or less signal. Im going to change one of the ap antennas, it have a 5 dbi Omni, i will switch it for a 9dbi sector

What are your experiences in this kind of instalations? What are your suggests.

indoor will be best i think. i have a lot of issues, with 5.X and hotspots with a lot of users, and no control on devices loging in. Try use 4.17.

Set data rates to a low rate, and use access list, to deny bad signal. Also better to use only g, not b/g.

Both AP’s are running 4.17, and thanks i had it on B/G i just change it to G only, nad i will add the acl rule.. Thanks!
